Product Overview:
Basalt fiber reinforced composite bar (BFRP) is a new type of composite material formed by pultrusion process, which combines basalt fiber as reinforcing material with resin, filler, curing agent and other matrix. Unlike reinforcing bars, the density of basalt fibre reinforcement is 1.9-2.1g/cm3. Basalt fibre bar is a non-rusty electrical insulator with non-magnetic properties, especially high acid and alkali resistance. It has high permissibility for water concentration in cement mortar and carbon dioxide immersion and diffusion. It can prevent the corrosion of concrete structures in harsh environment, so as to improve the durability of buildings.
Areas of application:
Seismic observation stations, harbour and wharf protection works and buildings, subway stations, bridges, non-magnetic or electromagnetic concrete buildings, pre-stressed concrete highways, anticorrosive chemicals, floor slabs, chemical tanks, underground engineering, magnetic resonance imaging infrastructure, communication buildings, electronic equipment plant, nuclear fusion buildings, magnetic suspension Rail concrete slab, telecommunication transmission tower, TV station bracket and fiber optic cable reinforcement core of floating railway.
Product advantages:
- Non-magnetic, electrical insulation.
- High strength, high elastic modulus and thermal expansion coefficient are similar to those of cement concrete.
- Extremely high chemical corrosion resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, salt resistance.
