Descriptions:
Tretinoin (Retinoic acid, Retin-A, Avita, Renova) is a derivative of Vitamin A and is used to treat comedonal acne, or whiteheads and blackheads. It works by affecting the growth of skin cells. It also prevents the formation of new comedones. Tretinoin is also the only topical medication that has been proven to improve wrinkles.
Applications:
Used in abnormal acne, ichthyosis and abnormal type of psoriasis. For the treatment of acne vulgaris, psoriasis, ichthyosis, lichen planus, Mao Fahong rosea, follicular keratosis, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma, disease. Pharmacology: Epidermal keratinocytes, dermal melanin cells and fibroblasts are the target cells of A retinoic acid important.
